Pitch: Valensole, Provence, Summer ’65: farmer Maurice Masse discovers a mysterious craft in his lavender field, taking off at breakneck speed and leaving tracks on the ground. The news drew crowds and put Maurice in the spotlight. Faced with this sudden and unwanted notoriety, he tries to protect his family and cope with the disaster: trampled fields, burnt beehives, harassment. Traumatized, Maurice fears he’s going mad. Based on a true story.
